Curve created with Garps' excellent Spiraloid Primative Tool.

Selected Verts converted to curve with Geometry-Polygon-Make.

Added 5 Bezier Nodes for deformation. Cord thickness can be adjusted
by selecting the curve mesh Properties-Curve & changing Curve Radius.
